PaySchools Online Payment Processing System
Now Springport Public Schools is able to bring the convenience to parents by offering a new online payment processing system, PaySchools.
More and more, busy people turn to the Internet every month to pay their bills online, and we saw there was a need to offer that same kind of service to parents and community members in our district. Through this system, parents can access PaySchools through the district’s website and pay for school lunch fees, either by e-check, Mastercard, Visa, or Discover cards. The parent will immediately receive an email receipt confirming their purchase. To ensure privacy and security for users, PaySchools does not save or store bank or credit card information.
PaySchools offers parents the ease of being able to pay for breakfast and lunch costs 24 hours a day - 7 days a week, the security of knowing the district has received payments, the protection of sensitive account information, and the convenience of having records of payments available online.
This is a “win-win” opportunity to make life easier for our parents and within the district as well. Each payment has a small processing fee that covers the cost associated with the program.
