SPARTAN SPOTLIGHT

CITIZEN OF THE MONTH - FEBRUARY

Alexandra Zblewski – Mrs. Stoker’s 1st Grade

I am proud to nominate Alexandra Zblewski as February’s citizen of the month. Alex is a very kind and respectful student. I can always rely on her to make good choices, be responsible, and helpful. She always sets a good example for her classmates. Alex exhibits all of the character traits we strive for in the classroom, she is a very special young lady. I have had the pleasure of being Alex’s teacher in first and second grade and I am very lucky to have her in my class. Congratulations Alex, this is a well deserved honor.

Eleanor Isham – Mr. Dyer 3rd Grade

Eleanor Isham is an easy choice for Springport Elementary citizen of the month for February.  Eleanor is a hard working student who always takes the time to help others.  She is a role model and leader in our classroom and an outstanding example of all our monthly character traits.  Eleanor, and students like her, help make Springport the amazing school that it is.  I consider myself lucky to have her in our classroom and look forward to the amazing things she accomplishes in the future.

HELP US HELP OUR SCHOOL

Did you know there's an easy way to help us raise money for our school - for books, band uniforms, reading programs and anything else that can use extra funding?

Meijer and Kroger have programs in place so when you shop we earn $!

Meijer's is called Meijer Community Rewards. Enrolled members shop Meijer, simply paying with cash, PIN-based debit card or linked Meijer Credit Card. Purchases made with a linked Mejier Credit Card earn 1%. Purchases made with cash or PIN-based debit card and a swiped Meijer Card earn 0.5% Springport Elementary School Meijer community rewards #658881.

Kroger Community Rewards (KCR) makes supporting community organizations as simple as shop, scan, and earn! Once you've registered, a % of each of your shopping trips will be contributed to the organization you've selected every time your card is scanned. Registering is as simple as updating the Community Rewards field on your My Account page with the information of the organization you wish to support.

ALSO - The Elementary has a box in the office for Labels for Education. Collect Campbell's soup labels and box tops from participating products like Glad, General Mills, Pepperidge Farms, certain beverages, stationery and magazines. Clip/Give/Earn!

THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONTINUED SUPPORT FOR OUR “KIDS” AND SCHOOL!
