SEGMENT I DRIVERS EDUCATION WILL BEGIN JUNE 21 THROUGHT JULY 8. PICK UP INFORMATION AT THE OFFICE.
LOCKER CLEAN OUT WILL BE ON MONDAY FOR JUNIORS AND SOPHOMORES AT 10:55 A.M. AND ON TUESDAY FOR FRESHMEN.
Attention students- Library books must be returned and fines paid by the end of the school year. Check to see if your name appears on the list outside the library. All books not returned by the end of the school year will be assumed lost. You will then be responsible for the replacement cost of the lost items.
Mrs. Layman will be staying after school this week on Wednesday and Friday. Please take advantage of this opportunity if you are not doing too well in English class. Please see Mrs. Layman during lunch if you have questions about grades, assignments, late projects.
Attention Art Club members. We have come to the end! This Thursday will be our last meeting for the year. We will discuss plans for next year over ice cream at the Dairy Kreme. PLEASE BRING MONEY FOR THE DAIRY KREME. Once more, congratulations to Buddy Whitaker to be the first member of Springport’s chapter of National Art Honors Society. Students that are interested in Art Club for next year should attend on Thursday or stop by to chat with Mrs. Rhodes.
“Do you want to learn to play golf? Maybe you’d just like to improve your golfing skills. If so, come out to the Country Town Golf Clinic with Mr. Vliek. The dates for the clinic are June 16th, 23rd, 30th, and July 7th. Cost is $5 per student per day. To register or for more information, including times, contact Country Town Golf Course at 857-4653.”

The Springport Area Growth Association (SAGA) is putting on a great 8-80 Days festival June 18, 19, and 20th. Get your registrations in for an Archery Tournament all three days and the Awesome 3K Run before June 1st! There will also be a community dance Friday night in the elementary gym and live music on Saturday following the parade.
