Parent Leader Forum

This group originated in the spring of 2010 as a group of parents that wished to gather monthly to

 discuss the difficult issues facing our students today.  The philosophy driving this group is that

"Involved, informed parents help build healthy, successful kids."  The group meets monthly with one

month geared toward question/answer and discussion amongst members, with the next month

devoted to having professionals present topics such as drugs,  alcohol,

teen pregnancy and sexuality, and educational help for parents.

Parents are notified about meetings and monthly topics through the local newspaper,

Global Connect, and the group's Facebook page.  All parents of students

K-12 are welcome and encouraged to participate.
