Michigan Promise Scholarships
Starting with this fall’s senior class, every high school student who attends college in Michigan will receive a $4,000 scholarship. The money is good for a two-or four-year public or private school or technical training program. In addition, students who score well on high school assessment tests will get $2,000 more-$1,000 in each of their freshman and sophomore years. That’s an incentive to study.
- Students must initiate the use of their scholarship within 2 years of high school graduation and all funds must be fully utilized within 4 years of initiation.
- Students must achieve a cumulative college GPA of 2.5
For information and an application for the Michigan Promise Scholarship, contact the school district guidance office.
