Spring Arbor, Mich. — Spring Arbor University (SAU) is excited to announce Springport Public Schools as its newest partner in the university’s Deep Roots Direct Admissions Program. This program is designed to provide high school seniors with an accessible and understandable pathway to a college experience that will help them grow in faith and character.
Through the Deep Roots program, seniors at Springport Public Schools who meet SAU’s admission requirements will be granted direct admission to Spring Arbor University. This eases the admissions process by removing barriers and providing early access to personal and financial support, as well as an opportunity to feel involved in the SAU community before attending Spring Arbor.
“We’re thrilled about what this partnership means and how much it benefits our students,” said Terry Sedlar, the superintendent of Springport Public Schools. “This direct admission program with Spring Arbor University allows us to provide our graduates with the necessary support to confidently take the steps towards a college degree. Spring Arbor’s program matches our dedication to our students’ success and our belief that every student should have access to an education and uplifting community.”
Marla Sanford, Vice President of Enrollment and Marketing at Spring Arbor University, commented, “By partnering with schools like Springport, we’re able to create an easier pathway for local students to pursue a world-class college degree close to home. We’re excited to support these students and help them grow personally, academically, and spiritually.”
This collaboration with Springport Public Schools continues to expand SAU’s Deep Roots Direct Admission Program throughout Jackson County.
