Springport Public Schools is excited to announce that Springport Alum Brandon Baum has been hired as the Principal of Springport Middle School and as the district Curriculum Director! Brandon's most recent position allowed him to serve the staff and students of Western Career Prep High School for the past seven years. Brandon is already in motion meeting with SMS Staff and learning the dynamics of the school and all of the fantastic things that are in place thanks to the work of now retired Principal, Tanya Newland and the SMS staff under her leadership!
Brandon is looking forward to building and maintaining solid and long lasting relationships with the students, families and staff of Springport Middle School! Brandon, his wife Jamie and their children Logan, Brody and Aubree are already embedded into the Springport community. Logan, a Western graduate, Brody and Aubree are students at SHS and SES respectively. Brandon and Jamie can be found in attendance at the many activities their children are involved in.
